Help the Tri-County Red Cross raise funds for disaster clients on Dec. 13.

Union —I am pleased to announce that Saturday, Dec. 13 is the National Day of Giving for the American Red Cross - a day when all of the American Red Cross chapters, blood regions, volunteers, and staff are joining together to hit the streets of America to raise awareness and funds to support the Red Cross Campaign for Disaster Relief. I hope you can participate in this special event by making a donation of your time or money to help us achieve our $100 million fundraising goal for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

The Tri-County Red Cross is seeking volunteers and retail businesses in and our 21 other communities to participate in the National Day of Giving from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. Funds raised will be split evenly between the disaster programs of the Tri-County Red Cross and the American Red Cross.

If your business can participate or you (or a group you belong to) would like to volunteer, please contact Corinna Krauskopf at (908) 756-6414 or krauskopfc@usa.redcross.org .

If you are unable to participate in the National Day of Giving, you can donate online at http://www.tricountyredcross.org .
